Where to Stay

There are hotels, house rentals, and camping options in Cascade Locks as well as in nearby towns, including Stevenson (10 min drive) and Hood River (20 min drive).

Hotels/Motels

There are several hotel, motel, and cabin options in Cascade Locks. Favorites include the Best Western Columbia River Inn, where we have a room block with discounted rooms for event participants. The hotel is a short drive or walk from the venue and has on-site breakfast and comfortable rooms. The Cascade Locks Motel is a short drive or walk from the venue, with cottages and suites in a spacious setting in town. Across the river in

Stevenson, Skamania Lodge is the nicest place to stay in the area, a full-on resort! Nearby is the Skamania Coves resort. Other options in Cascade Locks are the Columbia Gorge Inn and the Bridge of the Gods Motel and RV Park. In Stevenson, other options include the Rodeway Inn and Columbia Gorge Riverside Lodge.

 

There are many other options in Hood River as well.

 

House Rentals

Rentals of private homes or apartments in the area are available through AirBnb, VRBO, and Columbia Gorge Vacation Rentals.

 

RVs and Camping

Summer weather in the Gorge is perfect for camping, and there are many nearby options ranging from rustic tent camping to full-hookup RV sites. Some visitors may want to rent an RV. 

 

-Down the street from the venue (5 minute walk) is the Cascade Locks Marine Park Campground, which has hookup sites that can also accommodate several tents and vehicles. This is convenient, but beware it is about 50’ from active freight train tracks.

 

-In town, a few minutes’ drive away, is the Cascade Locks KOA, with tent sites, RV sites, and small cabins.

 

-A few miles east of town is Wyeth State Park, which has a comfortable and spacious tent-site campground in a quieter forested setting (10 minute drive).

 

-West of town and across the bridge is the Lewis and Clark Campground and RV park, with tent and RV sites (10 minute drive).
